Description

In Brief

This self-paced short course, rooted in the Behaviour Code, equips teachers with the knowledge and practical strategies to understand and support students who exhibit challenging behaviours. Rather than viewing behaviour as defiance, the course reframes it as communication, influenced by neuroscience, attachment, and trauma. Educators will explore how the brain’s response to stress impacts behaviour, the role of attachment in emotional regulation, and how trauma-sensitive strategies create safe and thriving learning environments.

The course also provides practical tools for effective classroom management, co-regulation techniques, and long-term behaviour support.
